“With her iconography, which has a personal credence, and through her reinterpretations of the primeval sacred and deep psychological symbols, Csilla Bondor utilizes a complex, exceedingly subtle, conceptually based visual system of signs, moving on the border of material and immaterial yet rooted in reality, to reformulate – without common places – questions that touch on the borderland between existence and non-existence, addressing the essence of human life as well as her own existence. The final result is a true object of meditation for a beholder who is interested in the fundamental metaphysical questions of life.”
